When we launched Lightyear Dispatch in August, we introduced a new way for enterprise IT teams to manage telecom. Dispatch brought together Lightyear's network data, proprietary intelligence, and AI agents in a single AI interface, making it easier to analyze spend, track renewals, build reports, and access capabilities across the platform.
Today, we're expanding what customers can do through Dispatch, graduating it from an “AI entry point” to an “AI orchestration layer.” Teams can now take action across Lightyear, get connectivity price estimates, and access Dispatch from Slack and Microsoft Teams.
With this release, customers can use Dispatch to:
Take action across Lightyear: Put Lightyear's AI agents to work to start new RFPs, manage installations, refresh carrier quotes, update network records, handle support tickets, and more, all from one place using natural-language instructions.
Access Dispatch from Slack and Microsoft Teams: Manage network workflows, access Lightyear data, and put AI agents to work directly from your team's conversations.
Get connectivity price estimates: Estimate Dedicated Internet and Ethernet P2P costs at U.S. locations without starting a formal RFP.
Together, these updates make more of Lightyear's data, workflows, and AI capabilities accessible through Dispatch, reducing the manual work involved in managing enterprise networks.
Take Action Across Lightyear, Directly From Dispatch
Managing an enterprise network involves a constant stream of changes. Installation dates move, service details need updating, quotes expire, and support tickets require follow-up.
Making these changes used to mean finding the right record, navigating to the appropriate workflow, and manually updating information across different parts of the platform.
Now, customers can simply tell Dispatch what needs to change.
With this release, we're introducing the first set of actions customers can take directly from Dispatch, putting Lightyear's AI agents to work across sourcing, installations, network inventory, and support.
For example, customers can ask Dispatch to:
"Start a quote request for 1 Gbps DIA at our new Chicago office."
"Move the install date for our Austin circuit to December 1."
"Refresh the expired carrier quotes for our Phoenix project."
"Turn off auto-renew for our Chicago fiber service."
Dispatch connects these requests to Lightyear's underlying workflows and AI agents, handling work that would otherwise require navigating multiple parts of the platform. Customers review and approve actions before they're executed, giving teams control over the changes being made.
The result is less manual work, fewer steps, and faster execution of day-to-day telecom tasks.
We'll continue expanding the actions available through Dispatch, soon making the full range of Lightyear's workflows accessible through one interface.

Access Dispatch From Slack and Microsoft Teams
Questions about network services, installation timelines, and telecom costs come up across IT, finance, and other teams. Getting answers and moving work forward often requires switching between applications or relying on someone from the network team.
Now, customers can manage network workflows and access Lightyear data directly from Slack and Microsoft Teams.
With Dispatch available in channels, group chats, and direct messages, teams can look up circuit details, check installation statuses, analyze telecom spend, build reports, and put Lightyear's AI agents to work without leaving their conversations.
Ask a question in a shared channel, and everyone can see the answer, discuss next steps, and move work forward together.
When customers need to view charts, explore reports, or use certain interactive tools, Dispatch links them directly to Lightyear.

Get Connectivity Price Estimates Without Waiting for Carrier Quotes
When responding to a customer RFP, evaluating a new location, or planning a network upgrade, waiting for carrier quotes can mean delayed bids, slower decisions, and missed opportunities.
Dispatch now provides instant, directional cost estimates using Lightyear's proprietary pricing intelligence, built from more than 2 million carrier quotes across 1,200+ carriers.
For example, customers can ask:
"What's the estimated monthly cost of a 1 Gbps DIA circuit at 1200 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta?"
Customers can use these estimates to:
Respond to RFPs faster: Incorporate connectivity cost estimates into customer proposals without waiting for carrier quotes.
Evaluate new opportunities: Assess connectivity costs for prospective customer locations, new offices, or properties.
Plan network expansions: Budget for new circuits, bandwidth upgrades, and backbone connectivity.
At launch, estimates cover Dedicated Internet (DIA) and Ethernet point-to-point services at supported U.S. locations, with 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps bandwidth options.
When customers are ready to source service, Lightyear Procurement handles competitive carrier quoting and implementation.

Bringing Lightyear's System of Action Together
Lightyear brings procurement, network inventory, and expense management together in one platform, backed by proprietary telecom intelligence and AI agents that automate work across the network lifecycle.
Dispatch makes those capabilities accessible through a single interface. Rather than navigating separate workflows to find information, make changes, or coordinate work, customers can tell Dispatch what they need and let Lightyear handle the work behind the scenes.
With this release, we're bringing more of Lightyear's System of Action together in Dispatch, making it faster and easier for enterprise teams to manage their networks.
And we're continuing to expand what customers can accomplish through Dispatch as more workflows and AI capabilities become available.
